Elizabeth Burton

Elizabeth combines technical expertise in housing and data analysis with a commitment to advancing equitable, thriving communities.

Elizabeth is currently supporting market and value capture analyses to understand the development potential of transforming the I-375 interchange in downtown Detroit to an at-grade boulevard. She is also conducting a market analysis as part of a corridor plan for the City of Dallas and TIF eligibility studies in Des Plaines, IL, and Johnsburg, IL.

 

Prior to joining SB Friedman, Elizabeth was a research analyst in the Urban Institute’s Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center, where she specialized in affordable housing and place-based policy research at the national and local levels, including the first comprehensive evaluation of Washington, D.C.'s Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act.
