Emma Bonanno-Lynch, AICP
An urban planner and economic development specialist, Emma is passionate about building thriving places that support access to opportunity.
Emma is dedicated to providing thoughtful, actionable insights to guide clients’ decision-making for projects at various scales. Her work includes developing housing, comprehensive and economic strategic plans; conducting economic impact and real estate market analyses; and analyzing financial and strategic considerations related to public-private partnerships.
Emma has recently managed the creation of a series of educational videos on development and housing for the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development, and conducted an analysis of transit TIF revenue capacity to support transformational I-290/CTA Blue Line enhancements on Chicago’s West Side. She is currently managing a market analysis and value capture strategy for the I-375 corridor in Detroit, a target industry cluster study for the Tallahassee-Leon County Office of Economic Vitality, and development advisory services and gap financing analyses for various municipal clients.
Prior to her planning career, Emma spent almost a decade as a professional opera singer.
