Gabriel champions communities’ health and well-being by supporting responsible land use strategy, economic development and neighborhood revitalization.
Gabriel focuses on helping public sector clients reach their economic and community development goals with a data-driven approach. His work involves conducting market and economic analysis to inform thoughtful planning solutions for changing urban environments. Select projects include an economic, demographic, land use and fiscal trend analysis in support of the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning’s Century Plan; a real estate market assessment for the Champaign Downtown Plan Update; existing conditions syntheses for the Armitage Industrial Corridor Land Use Framework and Calumet Area Land Use Plan Update in Chicago; housing studies and strategies in Wauwatosa, WI, and the Charleston, SC, region; and TIF feasibility and strategy support in Albuquerque, NM.
