Michael Ryzhov, AICP

Michael specializes in conducting market and financial analyses to guide redevelopment efforts and policy decisions.

Since joining SB Friedman, he has helped public sector clients create walkable, mixed-use communities, redevelop publicly owned sites, and manage public funds responsibly. His experience includes managing market and housing analyses for a downtown plan and revitalization strategy in Columbus, Indiana, and for a transit-oriented development plan for a bus rapid transit corridor in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He has also projected affordable and market-rate housing demand for the Tampa, Florida, region and conducted extensive policy research and financial analysis to support the implementation of tax increment financing in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
